KHG for Internationals:Nebenjob made easy

To earn money makes it easier
As an international student, you quickly realize that although there are no tuition fees in Rhineland-Palatinate, life is not cheap: blocked account, apartment, health insurance, semester fee, cost of living, GEZ fees... Everything has to be paid for. Often the only way to finance this is with a part-time job.
The German labor market and it's rules
On the one hand, our information event would like to give you an understanding of the reality of the German labor market: What part-time jobs are there at all? What language skills do I need for what? What are the current trends on the German labor market and at which companies in Koblenz can you find part-time jobs?
On the other hand, we will introduce you to the general conditions for a part-time job: What documents do you need? What legal regulations must be observed? How much can you work? What role does the residence permit play?
How to apply for a part-time job
We also explain what you need to consider when applying to German companies. How do you write an application? What documents do you include with it? What are the differences when you apply to a small or a large company? What are the dos and don'ts?
Finally, there is information on where you can get advice and what support is available when looking for a part-time job.
